Original, custom sites built rapidly for affordable prices
How we work (documents):
We think this entire process should be painless for you, and we'll keep that in mind throughout. We will discuss your needs and expectations from your website, gain an understanding of your business and how the website will aid your business, and generate drafts for your approval. You may or may not have preconceived notions as to how the site should look, which we will also discuss. Our objective will always be to have your site up and running, at a cost which you consider reasonable, in a reasonable amount of time. There will be no monthly charges unless you routinely need updates to your site, i.e., there is no charge other than those from the initial site build unless there are updates or maintenance which you request. Many of those may well be at no charge, depending upon the time/effort needed.
We use Dreamweaver, Fireworks, PHP, Perl, Flash, Photoshop, & other software as needed

So, what's a subdomain? I asked that question early on myself. The answer is, it's a new, different website, but also a subset of the original site, i.e., free of new hosting charges - you've already paid for it. It has its own URL or address and actually acts like a different website, i.e., can be password protected when main site isn't, for one thing. Typically it might be used as a personal site for pictures of family and friends - that's what I use one for. This ISP I use provides a lot for the money, as mentioned above, and you'll never begin to use all the space provided with the site for your business, so why not get yourself a digital camera, learn a little about FrontPage or Dreamweaver, and put up your own personal web page?!? Feel free to check one of mine out at www.personal.macpictures.com.
Most importantly, ask yourself if you want or need a website, and if so, why? A website can do two major things for your business - 1) it can give your business credibility, and 2) it can provide potential customers the opportunity to learn about your business in the protected peace and quiet of their own home. And after all, isn't this how you want them making an informed, thoughtful decision about use of the services and/or goods offered by your business?
