This type album lends itself to many uses as well

Images can be added as well as deleted without a total rebuild of the album

over 20 transition effects can be specified - unfortunately there can only be one per album, not a variety

configurable options include this text, alt text (the popup that appears when you mouse over the large image), and more

size of images can be controlled, as can size of thumbnails

all navigation is manual, so larger thumbnails such as are used here are preferred

This slideshow was built using a Dreamweaver Extension called PVII Image Gallery Magic

Again, a major advantage of this type slideshow is that images can be added, deleted, and/or edited after it's up, without a complete rebuild. Many packages do not offer that flexibility.
